Anna Holcomb

This year is my very first year teaching, and I am so lucky to have ended up at the happiest place on Earth! Yes, I can honestly say that because it's an all kindergarten school where you constantly have someone hugging your knees and telling you they love you. I have successfully made it through my first year, and hopefully there will be many more to come.

My teaching style, at the kindergarten level is mostly "Demonstrator." I model for my students the correct way to do the task at hand, butI highly value student participation as an important facet of the lesson.

It is simply an honor to have a GREAT teaching job with some of the most amazing coworkers I could hope for!

I went to Auburn University right after graduating from high school. I put myself on the fast track and graduated in 3.5 years. I did my student teaching in a 5th grade math and spelling class. It was such a great experience and I will never forget those sweet kids. They taught me so much! Now I am a first year teaching in a Kindergarten classroom. I am head over heels in love with this job and those kids!
