Used as an introduction to U.S. History II, this homework assignment helps students become familiar with both major historical events as well as 20th century pop culture. It uses Billy Joel's hit song "We Didn't Start the Fire" as its catalyst. After playing the song in class, this homework assignment will help introduce students to a broad variety of 20th century American history!
