In this Word Document, I have taken the original Declaration of Independence and written it in a way that children will understand. The font can be modified or changed. I had my students each print one out and then we tea stained it to give it an old world look and feel. My students then signed the Declaration. After they made this declaration, they then wrote a letter to King George describing their unhappiness with his rule.
