These are 32 cards for students to practice 4.OA.3 Word Problems. The first 8 cards are just straight word problems that students have to solve. The next 8 deal with reasonableness and estimation. The next 8 are for interpreting remainders and the last 8 are for using symbols in the equation.
These are 16 cards for students to practice cause and effect. The common core standard is for informational reading but these are literary. I always found it easier to teach it with literary first then move to informational. The first 8 cards are multiple choice and the last 8 cards require students to write out an answer. These cards would be good for 2nd graders or even 3rd graders who are struggling with identifying a cause and effect relationship.
20 Task Cards That ask students whether a number is prime or composite. Also will help with factoring numbers.

This is an on demand writing prompt that I had my students complete after reading The Sorting Hat chapter. It also includes an outline that I use to help guide them. There is an introduction, a 3.8 paragraph (modified), and a conclusion.
This is a independent activity that students do after learning about comparing and ordering fractions. They have to prove that they know the material before moving on to math workshop.
