Swatch Sheet- Visual Art!
Students are more successful in art when they swatch markers, colored pencils, oil pastels, water colors, etc; so they can see how a color may look, how a particular medium may look. They will be able to explore 5 different mediums and specific brands! My students when doing mixed media in particular , will do a swatch for planning purposes. Teaching style
My strength is in classroom management and creativity.
My goal is to engage students in visual art while having them take ownership of their own ideas.
I have a specific routine daily which includes
art warm ups, a demo, lecture, discussion activity, studio time, a review in a fun way and clean up.
All lessons have built in art games, warmups, activities, discussions, preliminary sketching and planning.
