Teaching style

I pride myself on making good relationships with students: positive classroom experiences for all abilities and social and emotional needs. My art room is an inclusive space and welcoming to all.

Awards & shining teacher moments

- I was nominated for an outstanding teacher award for teachers in their first five years in the industry - I lead seminars on Visual Arts Teaching and specialise in Aboriginal and Torris Strait Programming - I have been an active member of our states Art teachers Association (TATA) for several years - I foundered and continue to be a part of the committee that runs an ARI in my local town where we encourage and support artists of all abilities
