Art Peer Assessment- Have a gallery walk in your classroom before art is complete. When there is time for revision. Attach evidence to your students work. T.A.G.- Tell someone a compliment about their work. Ask the Artist a question. Give them a suggestion about how to add to their work.
When you reviewing master works or classmate artwork, these are great conversation starters/sentence starters that will help to establish conversation and writing protocols in your art room. When students can speak and write about art they it enhances creative collaboration.
