I have over 13 years of teaching experience working with learners of all ages, from nursery and kindergarten to primary school, middle school, and university students. For more than 10 years, I have taught in China, delivering lessons fully in English in international and bilingual environments. My experience includes teaching in schools, training centers, and private tutoring. I have worked with both young learners and adults, helping them build confidence and practical language skills. I primarily teach English, with additional experience teaching French. Currently, I am also learning Chinese, which helps me better understand my students’ learning challenges and support them more effectively in the classroom.

Teaching style

I believe that the key to successful learning is curiosity and motivation. When children enjoy the learning process, they naturally want to explore and learn more. My goal is to create a warm, friendly environment where students feel safe, supported, and excited to participate. I build strong relationships with my students by showing genuine interest in their lives and encouraging open communication. Our lessons include games, laughter, and meaningful interaction, helping students see their teacher as a trusted guide rather than someone to fear. I create my own teaching materials to ensure they are visually engaging, age-appropriate, and methodologically sound. I aim to combine bright, child-friendly design with effective learning outcomes that truly support language development.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My passion for languages and cultures led me to a career in education and international teaching. Working in diverse cultural environments, particularly in China, has given me valuable insight into how children learn English as an additional language. With extensive experience teaching young learners, I understand the importance of building confidence, developing phonics skills, and creating a supportive learning atmosphere. My international background allows me to adapt lessons to students from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language Teaching Methodology and Cultures, specializing in English and French. My professional qualification is Linguist-Teacher. I also earned a Master’s degree in International Communications from the University of Nottingham. In addition, I hold several teaching certifications, including: TEFL Certification Teaching English to Young Learners Teaching Business English Teaching IELTS Preparation I have also taken the IELTS exam to confirm my English proficiency.

Additional biographical information

I am passionate about languages, cultures, and creative learning. I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, and exploring visual arts. I love drawing and incorporating creativity into my teaching, as I believe modern children benefit greatly from developing their imagination. This creative approach inspires many of the resources I design — combining education with playful, engaging visuals that make learning both effective and enjoyable.
