About the store
For 14+ years, I've cultivated creativity in students, initially by teaching high school digital design and visual art, developing new curricula, and partnering with a local community college to expand their course offerings. For the past 12 years, I've focused on visual art for grades 7 and 8. My professional experience has afforded me the opportunity to be a teacher leader in several capacities like a Department Coordinator for Unified Arts programs and Teacher Mentor for individuals pursing a career in teaching. I leverage an M. Ed. in Instructional Design & Technology in my daily routines and resources and am currently pursuing a 6th-year certificate in Integrated Technology in Education, and look forward to bringing my new knowledge into my classroom and shareable resources. Additionally, I am a current participant in a National PLC for Visual Artists through the Connected Arts Network (CAN), where we are working on action research projects centered around SEL, Teacher Leadership and Responsive Classrooms in the arts.
