I am a Behavior Technician working with early learners in-home and school-based settings with a MA in Behavior Analysis Practice and pursuing my BCBA licensure. I am an enthusiastic advocate for compassion over compliance-based ABA.
Teaching style
I aim to embody Ms. Frizzle, Ms. Honey, Mr. Feeney, and my own personal teachers who impacted my life as a child and still to this day.I pride myself on ensuring that the children, families, and professionals I work with feel happy, relaxed, and engaged (shoutout to Mr. Hanley!) throughout each visit. I am passionate about collaboration across multiple disciplines, specifically the application of ABA in schools, and I hope to gain additional experience in that area moving forward. I utilize empathy, cultural awareness, and spoken/written communication skills to foster strong relationships with my clients and their families/teachers. I try my best to "fill everyone's cup" with whom I encounter daily. My creativity, alongside the ability to channel my inner "Steve" from Blue's Clues, allows me to develop unique learning materials and interventions, quickly build rapport with children, and promote/apply the science of ABA in a positive, and fun way!
