About the store

I am a 20 year, K-12 visual arts educator in the Houston area. I have taught on all levels, with high school being my longest tenure. I earned a BA in Art Education from Texas State University and a MA in Art Education from University of Florida. Currently I teach foundational Art 1 and Advanced Placement Drawing, 2D, and 3D. I am my campus' National Art Honor Society sponsor and enjoy implementing art-based service learning experiences with my students.

Teaching style

I believe that fine arts teachers are valuable assets our school systems have today. Without these teachers providing creative opportunities, our children would not have the higher-level thinking and problem-solving skills that are needed to be successful in the adult world. My goal is to help students gain the confidence they need to go out into this world and make it a more beautiful place whatever their future path is.
