Grid Drawing: Simple, Complex, and Advanced
The following resource can be used best to scaffold grid drawing practice. Students can begin with a simple grid drawing and then once mastered, continue to a more complex drawing. The goal here is to be able to accurately represent imagery through drawing at the advanced level.
Note: An introduction of line, shape, space, value gradations, proportion (if applicable), and the grid system is highly recommended before beginning either of these activities.
