This is an awesome way to bring excitement to your science lesson! Most grocery stores have all of the ingredients needed. I like to do this in a place where id you do spill , it's easy to clean. Tips, make sure you start with a container that will hold all of the liquid in the experiment. Also we used flat round LED lights to illuminate, I found on Amazon.com. These were easy to turn on and then sit the vase on the top. The kids called them lava lamps, or Radioactive lights, LOL!
Stencil worksheet to help your early learner start to write their name. Black and white with crayons as the templates. This can be printed and left in centers for impulse practice or given as home work. I leave a bunch in my morning baskets and also use them as assessments and proof of improvement.

I worked in the Virginia Preschool initiative , and Head Start For many years homeschooled for several years and for a few years I was teaching in Special Education. I also have Child Development Associates Degree.
