Very neat experiment to show Evaporation to the early learner. This only requires two cups and two bowls, and a light source. Remember to talk as you do, ask questions and make predictions. This shows a concept that is hard to understand due to lack of the vision of evaporation. This should be done after you introduce The Water Cycle , also available on our site and in our store. This is a narrative worksheet with a picture of a woman in Africa in a region that has little fresh water or clean drinking water. It shows her getting water from a muddy puddle , do to the lack of clean water available for some people in some parts of the world. By 2025 Clean drinking water will be 25% harder to find and the population will have grown by over 25% from todays numbers. Clean Drinking water is a most valuable resource.
