This is a collection for Kindergarteners and 1st graders to keep their knowledge fresh and hit the ground running when they do go back to school. Teaching style
I enjoy cute , and colorful artwork. I believe that some students will be more engaged when the work is exciting!
Awards & shining teacher moments
I have always loved art and teaching. I have received many awards over the years, but "That lightbulb moment " is more rewarding than any other award.
My own education history
I worked in the Virginia Preschool initiative , and Head Start For many years homeschooled for several years and for a few years I was teaching in Special Education. I also have Child Development Associates Degree.
