About the store

Experience

I'm currently an art teacher in a large public high school. I have also taught photography and art education in undergraduate collage settings, K-8 arts summer camps, secondary after school programs, and private art.

Teaching style

I believe that an exceptional art education fosters creativity, encourages autonomy, and produces well-rounded, thoughtful individuals. The art room should be a loving environment, where students can be vulnerable and embrace mistakes with the confidence that they will still be valued and cared for. I'm a loving, holistic artist educator, with emphasis on process rather than product and conceptual development.
