About the store
Hello, I am Art Time Class, and I love teaching art. I discovered my passion for teaching in 2010 while attending university. Once I realized that teaching art was a possible career path, I knew exactly what I wanted to pursue. I completed my teaching certification and began building professional connections in the field. In 2015, I found my dream position and have been teaching art ever since. When COVID began, I used that time as an opportunity to earn my Master’s degree in Education. In 2021, I began presenting at the TAEA conference. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. ❤️

Teaching style

I follow my students’ interests by providing multiple choices during the art-making process. Instruction emphasizes the artistic process, while I guide students in thoughtful decision-making. I intentionally integrate both digital tools and traditional art media to create a balanced and engaging art learning environment. Meet me video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Pq_5xIXmxso

Additional biographical information

I began my teaching journey at the University of North Texas, where I served as the Paint Charge for the Theatre Department for two years. During this time, I discovered my passion for teaching art. After graduating with an art degree and earning my teaching certification, I moved to Austin, Texas, and began teaching elementary art. I have been presenting at the TAEA conference since 2021 and enjoy working with both students and adults.
