This handout helps students understand the process of printmaking. They identify challenges, write down clear steps for the process and outline what makes a successful print. Students can then review the equipment and materials that they will be using, and label a printmaking station. This worksheet is best accompanied by a physical demonstration of the printmaking process that students can observe.

A fun stand-alone activity, or fits within my illusion artmaking unit of work. It would also be a fun sub lesson for students to complete independantly. Students learn about the concept of morphing (blending one object into another). Students are challenged to draw how they would blend together unrelated drawings, before moving on to creating their own morphed design.
