The 100th Day of School is one of my favorite days of the year. This packet includes things you could use during literacy and math. For math I usually have my students in rotations licking a lollipop to 100 (lollipops not included :), mystery picture, and race to 100 with a group of students. For writing I included two writing prompts - "If I had $100" and "If I were 100 years old" Enjoy!
After a few days of learning about balanced and unbalanced forces give your students an opportunity to test out their knowledge. 3 rounds of tug of war will take place but prior to the rounds students will have to draw the different people and predict who they think will have the strongest force. After each round students will circle which group had the strongest force. Borrow rope from P.E. and take your students outside OR be crazy and do it inside like me!
This is a bundle of 20 exit tickets that you could use for whole group instruction or to supplement whole group instruction during small groups. I use these as quick check for understanding to see what students understand. Most of the exit tickets are 2-3 on a page because I am big on saving the trees:) This bundle includes -identifying tens and ones in a number - identifying bundles of tens and leftovers within a teen number - addition within 100 including a two digit number and a one digit n
Subtraction Bowling is a great activity for students to complete by themselves or with a partner. Students will set up 6 or 10 small plastic cups on the mats that are included. Then students will roll a ball and knock down pins. Students will draw a visual of the pins they knocked down and then write down the equation. For example: If students knocked down the 3 pins they would draw an "x" over the 3 pins. The equation would be 10 - 3 = 7. I have a version with 6 cups and a version with 10 cups

The kiddos are obsessed with TikTok so let them compare the number of likes that different people have by using the symbols < , > , or = and circling the matching words "greater than", "less than", or "equal to". All of the problems involve comparing two digit numbers which is great for first grade (Enrichment for Kindergarten or remediation for 2nd grade). The last two problems are blank for the students to create themselves! My kids were super excited to complete this activity! I also

This is great for both leveled book bins or to begin your word wall! I am using it for both this year and I am obsessed with the map background.
I chose to cut out the circles then laminate them so I can reuse them again and again!
I use these in my classroom because over half of my class are ELL students. This helps when explaining what they need to be doing and I leave it on my board so they can refer back to the pictures. I decided that the best way to use these in your class is to have them laminated and then put a magnet on the back of them. I keep them on my board at all times and move them into the correct order when we are doing a new activity. The task cards are : Glue Color Draw Write Cut Read They each have a
