There are definitions attached in the article. 1933-1941 - A Timeline This activity is a timeline of major events taking place from 1933 to 1941. This plan is written for 9 days of school, but could be extended by adding more types of poetry or shortened by removing types. This plan teaches what a poem is, how to analyze a poem, a variety of types of poetry, and a class poetry slam. This activity reviews an article about the way propaganda was used during World War 2. There is also a review sheet for students to respond to the article and to analyze 3 pieces of propaganda.
