Before comparing histograms with the same data as stem and leaf plots, students will need to review how to make and analyze stem and leaf plots. These notes and practice problems do just that! At the end, students will create a histogram based off data from a stem and leaf plot.
This resource explains histograms, frequency tables and how to make a histogram from data sets using google slides. Students will learn the sets it takes to create a frequency tables and intervals. I made a video explaining to students how to create their own histograms using a table in google slides that is on the last slide if you wanted to include that in your instruction.
In this resourse, students will find the slope and y-intercept when given a line on a graph. Using rise over run to find the slope of a line, students will then put their slope and y-intercept into slope intercept form. Students will also identify if the slope is positive, negative, zero or undefined.
