This is smartboard lessons that go along with all Module 1, Topic A for the first grade common core math modules. Each lesson has the objective stated, fluency activities, the application problem, and the concept development, along with instruction and/or visuals for any partner games. I hope this helps enhance your mathematics instruction!

This is a smartboard game called “Beat the Teacher.” There is a fact on each slide. Show the fact on the smartboard and the teacher has to type it into a calculator and then write the answer on the board, the students can solve it mentally or with a picture and write the answer on their white board. Whoever writes it first gets a point. My students love this game! These are some facts we were learning at the time with with +0, +1, doubles, etc. You can switch up the facts to make them lean
