About the store

Experience

I taught children with a wide range of disabilities for 9 years, from pre-k to 10th grade. Currently, I am a work-from-home mom homeschooling my son. I miss this classroom, and creating resources is my new creative outlet.

Teaching style

I live by this quote in my classroom and at home. “If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.”

My own education history

I graduated from Georgia Gwinnett College with my bachelors degree in special education grades P-12. I am certified to teach children with special needs using the general curriculum and adapted curriculum.

Additional biographical information

Outside of the classroom, my life is pretty amazing. I am married to my wonderful and supportive husband. We have a 7-year-old son that our miracle child and is spoiled by our family and friends, and he knows it! We have one dog named Barrett. He is a 9-year-old American Bully who is way too spoiled and thinks he runs the house. We live just outside of Athens, GA, and are big GA Bulldog fans! Some of my loves are: Coffee, listening to audiobooks, traveling, and being creative.
