About the store
Hi there! I'm a 5th grade math and science teacher. While I may be new to the Teachers Pay Teachers world, I bring a variety of experience, a love for hands-on learning, and a serious obsession with making complex concepts click in fun, memorable ways. I’m always on the lookout for the latest best practices and love putting a creative twist on tried-and-true strategies. Whether it's exploring the solar system or diving into decimals, I’m all about keeping learning exciting, engaging, and just a little bit quirky—because who says math and science can’t be fun?

Awards & shining teacher moments

I’m honored to have received a Golden Apple nomination, a recognition that means the world to me as an educator! In addition to teaching, I’ve also had the opportunity to lead school-wide professional development sessions focused on supporting fellow teachers with practical, effective strategies specifically in Building Thinking Classrooms, a task based pedagogy. Sharing ideas, collaborating with colleagues, and helping create a strong, supportive learning community is something I’m truly passionate about.
