Need a quick Powerpoint for writing emails? Here it is! This is a quick slideshow to go over why writing Emails are important, why you should know how to write a proper email. I have an example of a good and bad email, I also have 3 emails for students to correct. This really honed in emails for my students.

I created a 5081 Praxis Study Guide based off a study book I got. I condensed what I could to make basic notes about what is on the test. I did NOT put Economics, Geography, Sociology, or Psychology in this guide, as it was not my focus (but does appear on the test). Use at your discretion. There may be things you need to expand upon that you know or things you already know. This is a base study guide and should be used to help guide your studying. Enjoy and I hope it helps!

Here is a template for your students to create their very own iMovie advertisements. I have clear instructions and even included a storyboard and script writing for the students to organize their thoughts. This is a word doc so you should also be able to edit it to your own needs, if necessary.

Basic Vision Board Project for your students. First slide has instructions and each slide has instructions on what the students should put on it. Finally, at the end of the slideshow is a checklist for students to make sure they are done. My students completed this in two 45 minute class periods. You can add or take away any slides you wish!

Have your students create a Vision Board on their own! Each slide has a prompt for them to answer and insert pictures. They also have to use tools such as WordArt and make sure to add a background. This took about a period and a half (45 minute periods) for my 6th graders to complete!

In this activity, after students have learned about the basics in Geography. They are to take their hometown and answer the questions related to geography (ex. What are the physical land features, why would people want to move to this town, etc) Students were very engaged in doing this and it made them start thinking about the different attractions their hometowns had. Tired of your students losing their iPads or not knowing the bell schedule deep into the year? This assignment has the students create their own background for their iPad on Canva (or whatever app or website you prefer). Students need to include their name, bell schedule, and their specific schedules while being as creative as they want.

A simple activity to get your students thinking about different cultures around the world. I let students pick whatever country they want (as I did this before we started to get into specific cultures and countries) and they had to answer the following questions. Most chose to do it in a powerpoint, but could really be modified to do what's best for you and your students!
