I love to start my school year off with a goal-setting activity. Exploring growth mindset and SMART goals with my students is an excellent way to introduce goal setting. Students will: See an example of and discuss what Growth Mindset isLearn the difference between a growth and a fixed mindsetLearn how to set a SMART goalSet a goal for the school yearWrite a short 3-paragraph essay about their goal and how they will use growth mindset to achieve it!
