Welcome to my store! I love creating effective ways to encourage children to enjoy learning and make it easy. My focus is on English skills and the homeschooling family, although also great for teachers. I created "Teach Phonics Fast!" for struggling students in middle primary - those who had missed out on learning essential phonics, beginner readers and even adults (with some adjustments). I've created other resources which I hope you will find useful.

* I love teaching hands-on inquiry discovery learning or theme-based integrated learning, however, I also know that both students, parents and teachers need structure. My focus is on reading and English skills. * I create worksheets, checklists, planning guides, etc., to simplify things for parents, teachers and kids. * Education should be purposeful and fun so that children experience the joy of learning.

* I'm an oldie now but I was nominated for National Excellence in Teaching Awards in Year 2002. * I was selected on merit as a Curriculum Writer/Designer for Schools of Isolated and Distance Education. * I have written curriculum content for other homeschool providers e.g. Simply Homeschool

* Graduated from Murdoch University in 1977 with a BA in teaching and continued to become a senior teacher. * Supporting homeschoolers in 2007 * Currently homeschooling our grandson who is now in high school. * Taught all grades from Prep to Yr 7 and adults * Mentored and supervised teachers in training * Privately tutored children from Prep to Yr 10 * Wrote curriculum for Schools of Isolated and Distance Education and Simply Homeschool. * Over 35 years of teaching experience across all ages and in schools, tutoring and as a homeschool parent, support teacher/mentor.
