Twelve years (plus) as a teacher, both Science and Mathematics, with a Chemistry and Physics focus.
Currently a Head of Learning area, Scidnce and previously for Maths also.
I have recently been developing resources to meet the needs of the Australian Curriculum in maths & science.
This is a folder of 110+ documents. Tests and Worksheets mainly.
They cover a range of topics. Algebra, Linear Equations, Pythagoras, Trigonometry, 3D trig and more.
Some have solutions, but not all.
All are in Word format so you can modify to suit your needs.
I guarantee value for money, buy these items separately would cost $400+
Occasionally I will add to this folder as I find documents to add in, once you purchase this you will receive these at no additional cost.

Referring to 3D diagram students solve problems.
Students are provided with diagrams to aid visualisation of the 3D sections.
Good worksheets to extend those well with pythagoras concepts.
Faced with the prospect of having to think up simultaneous equations, I decided to build a spreadsheet to generate them for me,
This spreadsheet (excel), randomly generates pairs of simultaneous equations, with the solution given in (x,y) form.
The equations and solution can be copied in to word documents, reformatted etc.
The spreadsheet produced three combinations of questions:
y = mx + c (two of...)
y = mx + c & ax + by = c
ax + by = c (two of...)
the values of all can be limited using
Students explore the applications of coordinate geometry,
Calculating and comparing distance between points, gradient, and plotting linear equations.
Limited solutions are provided in the form a final diagram (time poor currently I am), comprehensive solutions can be generated upon request.
This activity challenges students to find the equation of a line that passes through two defined points.
Students use graphical methods and algebraic techniques to complete the worksheet.
"rise over run" and y-intercept revision.
Also suitable for homework.
This is a quick investigation in which students investigation the ambiguous Sine concept. By the end of the activity students should at least be able to recognize that two different angles can have the same Sine value. They may even be able to come up with their own rule to describe the relationship between the two angles.
Great intro to the topic that could be used as a homework activity.
Students revise bearings (including true bearings) based upon simple diagrams, then navigate around an "Orienteering course" using scale based skills to determine the length of the course and bearing of each leg. Solutions included
This is a revision activity based up Similar & Congruent triangles, and Pythagoras & right angle Trigonometry.
Students revise a range of skills based upon these concepts.
This is aligned to the Australian Curriculum with students demonstrating a satisfactory to high achievement.

students explore the illusion of shapes on a Cartesian plane which has been 'squashed '.
Students need to calculate the length of sides using the distance rule, and the gradient (gradient rule) to determine angle size, Using this information students state the shape of the object (they are not all what they appear to be!)
This activity is a review of geometry basics combined with coordinate geometry skills.
It is aligned to skills associated with the Australian Curriculum at a satisfactory st
As the title suggests students simplify a range of expressions involving algebraic fractions and indices.
This work is aligned to the Australian Curriculum (year 10) at a satisfactory standards.

General revision for graphing linear equations.
revise skills such as:
fill a table from an equations (substitution) and plot the line (or curve)
determine x & y intercepts
review non-linear equations
Students prove that pairs of triangles are either congruent or similar, writing statements of proof.
Students also determine the size of corresponding sides and angles.
Two questions are also provided where students draw triangles based upon the information required.
(Note: this work is aligned to work as described by the Australian curriculum at a 'satisfactory' to 'High" achievement.)

Students explore the gradients of lines and compare if pairs of lines are perpendicular or parallel.
This activity is aligned the Australian Curriculum at a satisfactory standard for year 10.
Sorry, not solutions but I can generate them if requested.
