Teaching style
I like to make history relevant and authentic for students. I attempt to make as many connections as possible to our current time period while teaching. It is important to make sure students can relate to the content.
I realize that history is not always a students favorite subject, so I do try to make it as fun as possible. I try to bring humor into the classroom.
My own education history
I went to a state university and received my undergraduate degree in history and education. I went to a private university and received my master's in educational leadership.
