I have several years of hands-on experience teaching students in grades K-3 in a self-contained special education classroom. I have been working with Autistic students all my adult life and I deepened my understanding of diversity, empathy, and the power of tailored support in education. It continues to be a journey of growth, learning, and meaningful connections with each student I have the privilege to teach.

As a Special Education Teacher, my teaching style is rooted in empathy, flexibility, and personalized support. I believe in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and capable of achieving their potential. I adapt my lessons to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles, employing a variety of teaching strategies and technologies to ensure engagement and understanding. Patience is at the core of my approach, as I understand that each student progresses at their own pace.
