I created this visual for a student who had a difficult time interrupting during group instruction. Dependent on the expectations of each activity within the day, I switch the icon to indicate what a student should be doing communication wise (be quiet- no sounds while walking in the hallway, wait- it's not my turn yet and I need to listen to others in the group, talk- it's my turn to share my thinking).
