Experience

Welcome to Autism Learning Tools! My goal is to provide resources that help our most complex students succeed. I am a special education teacher, teaching in a small classroom of 10 students. After struggling to find resources that meet the needs of ALL of my students, I decided to create my own. This is my passion project.

Teaching style

Write it, sing it, act it, do it, try it, LEARN it.

Awards & shining teacher moments

The best rewards are the hand-written thank you cards from students and parents at the end of the year. They melt my heart...

My own education history

I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Education at McGill University in Montreal, Québec. An avid language learner, I have taken Spanish language courses at the University of Toronto and in Barcelona, Spain. I have obtained additional teacher qualifications in F.S.L., E.L.L., and Special Education. Since starting my role as a special education teacher, I have been trying to learn, absorb and share everything I can to help our most complex students.

Additional biographical information

I have a wonderfully supportive husband and two active boys. When we're not playing sports or exploring outside, we're planning our next excursion or vacation.
