She has designed and implemented interactive lessons framed within a student-centred approach and has significant experience with the TEACCH Autism Program. Samrah has worked with various Special Education organisations in Pakistan. She is founder of Autism Splash, an online awareness project for advocacy of the autistic community. Samrah holds Masters in Special Education from the University of Karachi, Pakistan. She earned a Bachelor in Special Education from the same institution.
At the moment, she is completing her post graduate in Autism from Queensland University of Technology, Australia.

Teaching style
Throughout my teaching career, I’ve been acknowledged for designing and implementing interactive lessons by employing manipulatives and IEPs to target the individual needs of children. I've seen students thrive when the teaching and their surroundings are highly structured due to which I often choose TEACCH program to deliver my lessons. The key idea is to teach children in a way that makes the most of their strengths and works around their areas of difficulty and I believe that TEACCH makes it successful.
I'm also founder of an online awareness project named "autism splash". Through this platform I share my teaching strategies with everyone, specially parents to empower them as i believe that parents are an integral part of a child's learning process.

I'm Samrah, a passionate educator with over 5 years of experience working with Autistic students. Throughout my teaching career, I've seen how challenging it can be to find high-quality, effective teaching resources that are specifically tailored to the needs of these learners. That is why i started creating my own material and strategies, and now i am excited to share them with you!
