I am an autism support teacher and case manager. I run a middle school classroom for students on the autism spectrum. All of my students are substantially below grade-level and require different levels of support to learn and to be successful.
Included in this download are several pages of task cards with various money matching tasks. Some include finding the monetary amount of a set of coins and/or bills and others include tangible items with price tags that get matched to the correct amount and/or include short word problems to find a difference of items purchased.
The following activity is a sorting/classification task. The PECS to the left of each row are category cards and will guide students when classifying the items. Categories include: food, school, toys, musical instruments, body parts, household, cooking, weather, seasonal clothing items, eating utensils, cleaning products, household locations.
This packet includes 42 pages of matching activities (plus title pages) encompassing a variety of vocabulary items such as body parts, hygiene, school items, household items, and animals. The packet can be laminated for continued use and velcroed so that students can complete independently.

This download includes the adapted version of my functional vocab activity. It is perfect for non-readers and those just learning. It can be used with a field of 2 or more and/or on a 1:1 basis for lower students.
