I started teaching in 2016. I have a master's degree in Education Literacy. The majority of my teaching experience has been in 5th grade, but I also taught 4th grade and have writing instruction for students of various ages. During my teaching years, I have been a facilitator and trainer for teachers specifically focusing on writing. Teaching has become more than just a job, but a passion. I am always looking for opportunities to improve as a teacher and have found that creating resources help to accomplish this goal.

Teaching style

I love to teach my students through real-life application and connections, which are best done through stories. Learning the stories of great men and women in history, science, math, and literature helps bring the subject alive for the students.
