Created by
Awake Minds
This fun hands-on activity is a great way for students to get hands-on, solving a real world problem where they have to cover three circular 2-d ornaments using the formula for area. I gave each of them three different sized cut-outs of circles to be measured and for them to solve. They loved it!

This item could be used as an activity or assessment in the classroom. Each problem is a multi-step problem. Students sill have to find the area of rectangles and then how much it would cost to cover the area. There is a link at the bottom of the page for more area/ math practice on the computer!
