My store offers comprehensive lesson plans that your students will love to create, and you are fully capable of teaching! These solid lessons are impressive enough to satisfy administrators during evaluations while still producing outstanding artwork for your students. Hello! I’m Bre, a middle school art teacher living in Indiana. I have a Master’s Degree in Art Education, a deep passion for engaging with fellow art educators, and an endless love for coffee. My spouse is both a writer and a ceramic artist and together, we are raising two wonderful children. This store is a collection of some amazing resources I have been able to craft and shape over the last 15 years. My biggest critiques (my students) have given their strong input on all these assignments and lessons and each one has passed the middle school art student test. https://sites.google.com/view/daughertyclassroom/home

This is a pack of 4 activities ready to use, no prep needed. They ask students to describe themselves in a unique way that helps them engage. Use one at a time for bell work, writing prompts, or a sketchbook assignment. Or give students a choice to help them settle back into the school year. Want to connect more with your students? Make sure you fill out some of these worksheets and explain who you are. I'm sure they want to know what kind of sandwich their teacher might be:)

Review Game, Fun Friday, Brain Break activity, All Subjects

This game is low prep (basically printing paper) but can be played all year long. Use any worksheet or set of review questions you want. The game is similar to another one in my store, "Steal Like an Artist," in that students can continue playing until the teacher ends the game, which allows you to adjust for class length. The winner is based not only on review knowledge but also a little luck, so kids do not feel like giving up if they do not answer every question correctly.

No fuss, no mess.... play this game right after you download it! The best part is that you can play it over and over again with different terms of your own. Use it at the end of the year, then save it for a sub plan or semester wrap-up next year.

This activity is the Spanish translation for my other product (write a love letter to your favorite art supply) In this activity, students write a love letter to their favorite art supply and share their excitement for using this supply to make art. This is a no-prep lesson that can be used in class, for e-learning, or as a sub plan. It also is a great assignment for the end of the semester when art teachers are trying to wrap up projects without a lot of supplies or clean up.

This lesson feels like a fun game, but gets students thinking creatively. Simple enough to use as a subplan or start/end of the year lesson, yet can be modified to be more complex. Use the drawings students make as a jumping point to their next artwork, a study of movement lines, or creative problem solving. This lesson allows students to generate innovative ideas for creating art. Those playing the game will brainstorm multiple approaches to a creative art or design problem. This is also a cros
