About the store

I began my teaching career several years ago at a tutoring facility. I worked my way up to Associate Director of Education while I was completing my Elementary Education degree. I began my public school service in Special Services working with students grades 4-8; modifying assignments and assessments based on their needs and according to their IEP. From there I moved through 5th, 6th, and 7th grade; elementary math through pre algebra; over a 10 year span. Currently, I am working with students grades 1-4 in all subject areas.

In education, social-emotional learning is an increasing area of importance. This tool will help teachers, counselors, and students begin to identify patterns in behavior. Once we can identify a pattern in the behavior, we can create ways to best support our students needs. Ideally, students would use this as a daily check-in/out. It makes a great discussion starter and record of feelings. The resource includes both a boy and girl check in/out.
