I have been a teacher most of my adult life! I have taught students in grades 6 - 12 just about every subject over the years! I taught in both the private and public sector. I began my career in teaching before students had cell phones, computers, and access to the world in the palm of their hands...you know, the good 'ole days!! My undergraduate degree is in English with a concentration in Professional Writing. I have a Master's Degree in Special Education.

I have 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 2 Boarder Collies (my COVID pups!), and a TN Walking Horse named Chief.
