I have been a teacher most of my adult life! I have taught students in grades 6 - 12 just about every subject over the years! I taught in both the private and public sector. I began my career in teaching before students had cell phones, computers, and access to the world in the palm of their hands...you know, the good 'ole days!! As a learning support teacher, I want my students to be able to learn and use everyday words. I also want to teach them how to "dissect" words simply by understanding the prefix, root, and suffix. I present a new spelling and vocabulary list every Monday and students are quizzed on Fridays.
