Here is a worksheet for 5th graders to learn about literary elements on Plot. Students will work on knowing that a plot is conflict, climax and resolution to a story. Students are also asked to use YouTube clip to finish the project if they do not know the answer to the questions.
Here is a print and go sheet to use with place value up to 1,000. I also have blank lines on the right side to help with word form or expanded form. I am using this lesson with Saxon lesson 38 Second grade in Oklahoma. If you use it for younger grades you do not have to use all the place value spots. 1. One game is to roll a die or turn over a card 1-9 and they try and create the biggest number. They use a non erasable marker and write down were they think the highest number should be put.
It is a simple document with the words "Be a Smartie pants" written 22 times so all you have to do is copy it and attach Smarties candy to it. Quick and easy test encouragement.
This will help me find books for students to take AR tests after they read. It is much faster when you can just type in an AR number for a low student than to have them write out the full title. This will also help teachers help students pick books they enjoy reading and not waste time reading a book that is not an AR and getting sad that it does not have an AR test.
