Weekend News can be used in many different ways. 1. Homework - Students can take it home and write about their weekend. They can also create an illustration to go along with it. 2. Morning/Bell Work : On Monday mornings, students can write about their weekend and create an illustration. Collect the weekend news for the year, bind it, and send it home as a keepsake at the end of the year!

Thank you for taking a look at my Read, write, and draw alphabet book! In this book, you will find one page for each letter of the alphabet. Each page contains both uppercase and lowercase traceable letters, a simple sentence, blank lines to rewrite the simple sentence, and a space to draw a picture to match the sentence. To help differentiate this piece, I have also include a set of pages without the simple sentences so students can come up with their own sentences! I hope you enjoy!
