I make my own writing journals for my students. This is the cover I allow them to color and make their own. I then print out writing paper and 3 hole punch it together to make it a journal :)
Using the Wit and Wisdom reading program level 1 - one of the end of module tasks is to write an informational paragraph about 2 animals and how they use their unique features. This is a great student hand out for children to study and practice talking about and writing before the assessment.

Every spring my students and I plant seeds in a cup with soil and a bean in a bag with a paper towel. Every Monday and Friday we keep a log so we can track the changes and growth that were made :)

I celebrate 3-4 holidays around the world in December with my students. I've printed out a pretend passport and each country we travel to they get a "stamp" in their passport just like in real life! So fun!
Teaching Bossy R can be confusing! I like to use a pirate to help me. "ar" is the happy pirate. "ur" "er" "ir" is the mad pirate because he has to share the sound with THREE other letters and "or" is the oars he rows with! I have these printed and laminated and put on display as introduced.

Teaching narrative writing and get those students saying "I don't know what to write!" Well this is the perfect resource to have students complete before narrative writing to brainstorm some ideas to write about!
First day of school growth mindset activity! I have students color the growth mindset statements in yellow and the fixed mindset statements in blue. These stay hanging in my room all year :)
I use this poster during morning meeting. It is posted right above our weather portion of morning meeting. It's a great way to separate the different parts of morning meeting.
