How Would You Pay? is a digital English math resource. Students learn about the different methods of payment (currency, credit, debit, cheque). This activity is suitable for the Grade 4 Ontario Math Curriculum (F1.1). There are six instructional slides in this activity.
A digital numeracy activity where students are presented with either a spinner, cards, jar of marbles, etc. They must decide whether each game is fair or not fair, then explain their thinking. Great for early probability lessons. In the last slide, they must create a fair spinner.
Canadian Coins is a 3-page printable activity for primary students. It is deliberately created with fewer distractions on the page for learners who may struggle with visual distractibility. Students will identify 6 Canadian coins; including the name and value for each. In page 2, they will count the coins for 4 students. Page 3 is a cut and paste activity-counting appropriate coins for 3 items from a candy store.
Financial Literacy - Need or Want is a digital math resource for teaching financial literacy. It is an expectation in the Ontario Math Curriculum for primary students. Students will learn the difference between a need and a want, sorting objects into the appropriate category. There is one instructional slide and two student slides to complete in this activity.
