Basic Bees

Short Vowel Bundle contains 6 separate slide decks, one for each vowel, and one for a review. Students will practice short vowels using pictures, sorting, words, and sentences. Each activity contains four or five student slides.

A digital numeracy activity where students are presented with either a spinner, cards, jar of marbles, etc. They must decide whether each game is fair or not fair, then explain their thinking. Great for early probability lessons. In the last slide, they must create a fair spinner.

Financial Literacy - Need or Want is a digital math resource for teaching financial literacy. It is an expectation in the Ontario Math Curriculum for primary students. Sentence Building With Animals is a digital English language resource. Students look at the picture in the frame, then click and drag words from a clipboard to create a sentence. Then students will type the sentence they have made in a text box on the clipboard. There are ten slides in this activity.

Rhyming Word Apple Trees is a digital English language resource. Students will choose a letter for the apple tree, then click and drag it to a card with a word fragment (word family) to create a word. Ten word families are used, each on its own slide.

Build a Sentence Train is a digital English language resource. Students will look at the picture in the frame, then click and drag the words on the clipboard to the train cars to create a sentence. Then, they will type the sentence they have written on the clipboard.

This interactive resource was designed to have primary students explore adding single-digit numbers. Students will go to the checkout of the candy store with their shopping cart and total the bill for the candy in it. Students will also type the number sentence into the box. The learning goal is students will be able to add 2, 3, and 4 single-digit numbers. The resource was created using Google Slides, and is fully editable.
