This is a flow chart for what to do when a student is upset (Example given is when a peer says something hurtful, or mean) and how to handle the conflict without getting into a physical altercation. This was made as a tool to teach students how to handle conflicts appropriately and peacefully at school. Print and go over with students frequently (individual or whole group): To be used as a Tier 1 or Tier 2 intervention. Can also be printed and put in a space seen frequently in the classroom.

This is a 5 step flyer for teachers, or student monitors to utilize to handle playground conflicts through a Restorative Practice's lens. It includes RP questions to ask the one harmed and the one who did the harm. This is a good resource for new teachers and student monitors who want to peacefully solve conflict between students, while encouraging accountability & empathy.
