This is a simple, pre-made Power Point meant to teach lower grades how to appropriately walk in line at school. Focuses on having safe hands, quiet voice, and facing forward. Useful for the beginning of the school year and mid-year refreshers. Includes a prompt to practice as a class.
Social story for situations that happen at school, that might upset student. (Making mistakes, running out of time, needing help, unexpected things) and replacement behaviors to use instead of getting upset (asking for a break, asking for help, asking for more time) To use: Read to students and talk about things that upset them, and how they can make better choices (replacement behaviors). I recommend printing & laminating, and reading multiple times.
I created this social story as an additional resource to behavior interventions targeting safe hands, telling an adult when there is a problem (problem solving), asking for a break, and elopement in the classroom
A PowerPoint with visuals to help kids discriminate between clean vs. dirty. (I used it for a prerequisite skill for wiping after a bowel movement. Teach "wipe until it is clean"). Goes well with sorting scenarios and cleaning real messes.
This is a social story focusing on having safe hands at school, and replacement behaviors to get appropriate attention. It gives examples of what safe hands at school do and do not look like.
A visual Task Analysis (TA) and a visual token board to help with learning the quadrants and steps of toothbrushing. Recommend laminating and leaving in the bathroom.
A Social Story for students with anxiety or repetitive questions about where their friends/family are and when they can see them. Can be customized for the student to include pictures of friends.
