About the store

Experience

Most of my teaching experience has been in alternative education. The general population of math readiness ability is 6th grade or lower. Additionally, I'm teaching in a class where 50% or more of my students are absent for 50% or more of the quarter. I've learned devise tricks and create posters to help my students figure out Algebra fast.

Teaching style

Drive-thru understanding by design: The majority of my students don't show up to class often enough to build a deep understanding of Algebra. My notes and worksheets are crafted to make students aware of the common mistakes and misunderstandings algebra learners have before they start practicing. My posters point out concepts students frequently forget. My worksheets are self-checking to help build mathematical confidence and save teachers from constantly verifying the correct answer.
