About the store

I have been in the classroom since 1997. I have primarily taught high school level science courses. In the 2014-15 school year I was asked to help build curriculum at the middle school level. There I discovered The Interactive notebook. I found myself creating foldables to fit my needs. So, here I am thrilled to pass on ideas and shortcuts to make your day go a little smoother.

This printout gives you some random amino acids and a model of a polypeptide chain, it allows for a discussion on monomers and polymers. You decide how much information you want to place in the background. these cutouts are meant to help you get past any extra drawing, so you can focus on the material itself.

This is a model which can be cut colored and added to an interactive notebook. I made it for carbon but it could be used to illustrate any of the atoms from one to 10. I have recycled hole punch circles to be used as the proton neutrons and electrons.

Each page comes with 12 earth cut outs. So if you are going to do the seasons project each print will cover three students. Can be used for Season studies, or moon Studies

Experience

Teaching style

I have been moving to a more interactive form of teaching, I am trying to engage students in interactive activities, as well as some flip teaching. It is an adventure I am always interested in attempting something new.. I guess I am always astounded at the new directions this journey has taken me.
