This is a 3rd grade recycling webquery where the students are to bring awareness to the importance of recycling. This lesson also brings in the use of technology and research, as well as art.

This is an entire Penguin Unit Plan including a Science, Art, Reading and Writing Lessons as well as Songs/Poems and great books to read to your students. Each lesson comes with a break down of the activity, time frame needed, materials needed, any templates necessary for the activities and assessments.

This lesson can be used and adapted for a first to fifth grade level. This lesson is great for a fall unit with butterflies, but also for a unit that deals with animals adapting for nature and survival. Great lesson for classroom discussion as well.
